KREUL Foto Transfer Potch Set is a complete photo transfer kit for turning images and memories into decorative objects with a personal feel. Use it to transfer a favourite photo, a black-and-white image, a family snapshot, a vintage clipping or a magazine image onto a surface so it appears almost printed onto the object.
The set includes KREUL Foto Transfer Potch, coating varnish, a brush and a wiper, so the main tools for the process are included in one package. The transfer medium is suitable for transferring waterproof prints on approx. 80 g/m² paper, newspaper images and magazine cut-outs onto surfaces such as stretcher frames, wood, ceramics, metal, glass, porcelain, fabric and candles.
The process works by placing the printed side directly onto the surface. Apply a generous layer of Foto Transfer Potch to both the substrate and the printed side of the image, place the image face down and press evenly with the wiper. After drying, moisten the paper layer and gently rub it away so the image remains on the surface. The final coating varnish helps remove fine paper fibres and makes the colours appear clearer and more brilliant.
Foto Transfer Potch and the coating varnish are water-based, vegan and weather-resistant, making them practical for decorative projects you want to last. On fabric, the finished item should be washed by hand only. For candle projects, the manufacturer also recommends the dedicated KREUL Foto Transfer Potch Coating Varnish for candles.
