The most beautiful time of the year is coming, and with it, the need to pause for a moment, take a few breaths, and enjoy the little things.
The Mini Advent Calendar Journal is the perfect way to do just that: a blend of journaling, creativity, and holiday anticipation.
Instead of opening a chocolate each day, we create a page full of color and thoughts!

The first step is to prepare the base of your album — a small but functional and convenient mini album that will hold 24 days of inspiration.
Here are the options I can suggest:
- A mini album with rings — flexible because you can add or remove pages — and you can also alternate between white paper, scrapbooking paper, vellum, transparencies, etc.
- An album that you'll create from scratch using the We R Makers Cinch — a more comprehensive binding (but also more "solid" since it doesn't allow many changes, especially if you use spiral binding; however, if you use binding discs, you're ok as well!).
- A journal, if you plan to play with colors, pastes, and other mixed media techniques.
Let me know which option resonates with your style and plan!

That sounds like a wonderful and heartfelt plan! Each page representing a day from December 1st to 24th allows for a creative and personal approach. You can include journaling, photos, memorabilia, drawings, or a mix of everything—whatever inspires you from the prompt of the day.
Ideally, whichever album you choose, try to leave space for all these elements. I recommend having your pages prepared, numbered, and with the prompt either printed on a little note and glued onto the page or written in your own handwriting. Or — and this is what I’ll do! — you can pick a prompt randomly each morning and add it to your page based on your inspiration.
I’ll print the prompts, wrap them up or put them in small envelopes, and place them in a festive bowl. Every morning, with your coffee, you can pick one and let it inspire your day!

I've prepared the prompts—I'd be happy to create together! You can print them on cards, number them 1–24, and glue or place them inside small envelopes on the corresponding pages...

I haven't decoded yet how to decorate it... but I will definetely use dies - stamps, this for numbers and small words, and definetely rub-ons! Of course, I will use Glitter Drops by Nuvo since holidays are always sparkling and full of glitter!
I haven't decided which scrapbooking collection I will use - each one of them is awesome for different reasons the choice is hard! I'm thinking of Santa's Christmas Delivery or perhaps Merry&Joy by Mintay Papers.
Speaking for the little “magic” tricks that can elevate your advent journal, layering is your most powerful tool! Playing with transparencies, vellum, and different textures instantly creates visual depth. Pastes and stencils add embossed patterns that catch the eye, while you can also stamp prompts onto small tags or tickets for an even more cohesive and stylish look.
And of course, share your process on Instagram — a photo a day with the hashtags #miniadventjournal and #scrapsnpiecesgr! Let’s create a community together!
That’s it for this week.
Artistic kisses!
