Use Posca markers over alcohol inks and the outcome is so outstanding! Posca markers are permanent markers that can be used on many surfaces, such as glass, plaster, plastic, metal and yupo paper!
Before you try it, here are some useful tips 😉
Posca will not work if the alcohol inks are not completely dry. We recommend to wait for at least 24 hours before using the markers, in order to let your creation fully dry.
If you are not patient enough to wait that long, we suggest you use a heat gun to dry your creation. But be careful! Do not place the heat gun too close to your paper as the heat can melt the yupo paper (which is made of plastic 😀)!
Posca markers can sometimes “absorb” the color of the ink on which they are applied -
No wonder why we insist on good quality alcohol inks! Once again, we advise you to let your creation fully dry or apply a coat of varnish before continuing with the markers!
You often ask how to varnish creations with alcohol inks.
It is very difficult to “stamp” alcohol ink, as some varnishes can make colors “bleed”.
The answer is resin. However, resin varnishing is definitely a very time consuming process but still it is the only one with good results.
Isn’t this combination absolutely breathtaking? And the outcome so impressive and unique!
So, now it’s your turn! We would be happy if you share your crafts with us!
See you next week!
Until then,
artistic kisses!
