Making resin jewelry is quite simple and easy. We will use UV resin of one component, ideal for jewelry, artistic creations and mixed media applications. Please note that it dries in minutes (using UV or sunlight) and creates a hard, transparent surface like glass. So, you’d better decide what you want to create from the beginning. In that way, you won't waste any time and the resin won’t dry before you finish...
After having filled the molds with resin, we are ready for pigments, confetti and glitter, the so-called mix-ins 😉. What I wanted to achieve is the so-called "color blocking" technique, where only one part of the earring is colored and the rest stays transparent! That's why I only added color to the half surface of my hoop!
For the earrings where I wanted to add sprinkles, I poured resin in the mold and then added confetti. The possibilities are endless! All you have to do is let your imagination run wild 💗.

This particular type of resin will dry very quickly either in the UV oven or under sunlight. So after it dries, take your earrings out of the mold and add the clasps. And you are ready!
