The Dina Wakley MEdia Clear Gesso is an artist quality surface primer designed to prepare surfaces while keeping the original design visible. Unlike white or black gesso, it dries transparent, allowing printed patterns, images or backgrounds to remain fully visible after application.
It creates a slightly textured surface that improves adhesion for paints, inks and other mediums, helping them apply more evenly. It dries quickly and remains flexible after drying, making it suitable for layered techniques.
It can be used on paper, cardstock, canvas, wood, metal, plastic, chipboard and fabric. Ideal for art journaling, collage, mixed media artwork, canvas projects and handmade cards, especially when working over existing designs or decorative papers.
