Would you like to learn how to create your own unique stamps for cards or fabrics? Stamp carving
is a beautiful technique—almost as old as writing—that combines creativity, relaxation, and stunning results. And the best part is, you can try it even if you're a beginner!
In this week's blog post, we'll show you how to make a stamp using just a few simple materials. All the tools and inks you'll need are, of course, available in the Carving/Stamp Making section at SnP

Material needed:
You will need:
Ink for stamps in your chosen colors
Wooden pad or acrylic base (to attach your stamp)
Paper or cotton fabric
Once you've gathered your materials, I'll show you step-by-step how easy it is!
Step 1: Draw
Use a pencil to draw a geometric shape—such as a leaf, which is very trendy right now—on your carving block.

Step 2: Carve
Using your carving tool, remove as much material as possible around your design, leaving the shape raised. The cleaner your cuts, the more beautiful your imprint will be.

Step 3: Attach to base (optional)
Adhere your stamp onto a wooden block or acrylic base to make it easier to handle during stamping.
Step 4: Ink
Apply ink evenly over your design, ensuring full coverage. If you choose to stamp on fabric, opt for Versacraft inks.

Step 5: Stamp
Press your stamp onto paper or fabric. You can repeat the pattern, combine different colors, or even create a full pattern!
