Hello dear friends!
Weekend is about to begin and I wish to all of you that is beautiful and creative!
Today on our blog, we have Mary Tzalla, who has created a beautiful tag from scratch. As she confesses, she hasn’t been keeping any clothes tags, however, she creates her own tags with cardstock. Enjoy Mary’s creation and get inspired for your projects with Tags & Numbers!

This month’s challenge is so inspiring and creative!
To be honest, I haven’t been stashing clothes tags, so I decided to create my own by cutting them out of cardstock with a die.
First, I applied a layer of white gesso over the tags, and after that was dry I glued the smaller ones on top of the bigger ones, to create some layers.
Then, I applied white crackle paste and sand paste in some areas in order to create a variety of textures on the background. I also did some stamping and heat embossing with Lindy’s Gang embossing powder.
I sprayed several times with Lindy’s Gang sprays, until I got the result I wanted. I dried well between layers.
I used Finnabair and Rust Εffect pastes on the chipboards and numbers.
For my cluster, I used metal embellishments and numbers. I glued everything with heavy body gel and used some acrylic paints to accent certain details. Lastly, I used soft matte gel to add mica flakes, glass beads and glitter. A few splashes with white acrylic ink and my tag was ready.
Thank you dear Mary for this amazing creation and all the inspiration you shared with us!
