DINA WAKLEY
Dina Wakley is one of the artists who helped establish art journaling and mixed media as a form of personal expression open to everyone, not just professional artists. With a Fine Arts background and a distinctive style, she encouraged makers to experiment with colour, texture, and mark making in a more intuitive and meaningful way.
For Scraps n Pieces, Dina Wakley also has a special personal meaning, as she was the first teacher who introduced Myrto to this creative world, at a time when art journaling had not yet taken shape in the way we know it today. Her influence is closely connected to the beginning of that journey and, in many ways, to the creation of Scraps n Pieces itself. Her line with Ranger includes paints, journals, and tools designed for free exploration and expressive, unrestricted creating.
