When you want to decorate your Christmas tree only with monotone balls but you can not find the colors you have dreamed of...
Just pick your favorite colors and paint them yourself! 😉 With Acrylic Paints DecoArt!
I'm absolutely crazy about them! They are so perfect but I have to warn you: it takes MANY hours to dry 😁
Even after two days, they were still wet!
So don't waste any time!
You will need:
- Acrylics
- Plastic transparent balls
- Plastic work surface
Choose your colors and start filling your balls. Be 'generous' with the color! In the end, you can spill what is left back in each color's bottle 😉
Tip: Use a napkin to close the top of the ball and swirl it. Warning: Do not shake your ball, it will create bubbles, and if it dries, the color will not be nice...
Spill back the remaining paint to the bottle either by turning the ball over directly on the mouth of the bottle or with the help of a funnel ... Let it 'drain' for at least 10 ', depending of course on the color quantity used 😉
You may notice that, no matter how much time you have left your Christmas balls drain from whatever extra color they had inside, unfortunately, there is still a little more. I had the same problem, trust me! 😁
The last step is to let them dry. This stage is also the most time-consuming, I left them for 2-3 days in a ventilated area with their mouth upwards.
While you wait, I would advise you not to touch their inside because it is most likely that you will leave your fingermarks ...
Although, as I told you at the beginning of this post, I personally really like it!
The great variety in acrylics and metallics by DecoArt, helped me decorate my Christmas tree exactly as I have always dreamed! Check them out!
