Can you believe that we are a… tiny step away from December? Time passes by so quickly, we are speeding towards the end of this year, but I'm so excited to be part of the happiest time of the year!
One of my favorite Christmas traditions during those last 6 years is to create an album just for December. December Daily, inspired by Ali Edwards, is an album that captures the magic of this festive month. Not only does it encourage us to record every day, that’s why we call it “daily”, but it also helps us remember what really matters…
The main idea of DecDaily is to keep all of your December-scented memories, although some choose to stop on Christmas day and others continue until Epiphany. The goal is the same: to capture the spirit of Christmas
and all the festive activities both outside and inside our house. And this can be done either you choose a D-ring album, a flipbook, a TNotebook or whatever else suits you ...
But how will I fill an entire album with, when some days seem just a daily routine? What I actually do is … mining through my entire day. There’s always something special, magical ...
Some suggestions may be:
- family traditions
- favorite family holiday recipes
- when you turn on the lights on the Christmas tree
- when you decorate the house
- favorite ornament
- favorite drink ...
But there are some days where
all you want to do is wear
your PJs and eat popcorn while watching TV ... hmm this does not sound very festivious 😋
Yes, but on the other hand that’s part of your life, so you may include such moments in your album!
To begin, all you need is to organize your supplies:
your album, papers and decorations, stamps and inks, markers and double-sided tape ...
And there you go… If you are still thinking and wondering if your album will meet your expectations, let’s craft together! This year, I will go for a tiny mini album. It is the only size I have not tried so far and think I’ll give it a try! But at the same time, I will be working on TN December.
