💡 Hints & Tips:
- It is very important to protect your plate from scratches and marks because then the mark will print on all your projects. Use silicon tools and rubber brayers. Never use sharp or pointy tools with your plate.
- Do not throw away the protective sheets that come with the plate. Remove them when you are using the plate and place them back before you store it.
- Always keep your plate inside its case, away from heat, direct sunlight or other UV source. Use the plastic case that comes with the plate (remember to store it away from direct sunlight) or use the tin storage case for absolute protection.
- It is advised to clean your plate using only soft soap and water or alcohol-free wipes.
- When printing on paper DO NOT use glossy paper, like photo paper or other similar papers. Bristol papers are the best paper to use when printing on paper.
- For image transfer or to extend acrylic paint drying time, use gel medium.
- DecoArt Premium, Dylusions and Americana are excellent choices for printing with a gel plate. You can extend drying time by using acrylic glaze or gel medium.
