Back from summer holidays and already miss them? So do we, that’s why we decided to bring some of the summer colors to our house! How? By using them on a simple cotton mat!
We can use acrylics for fabric or just acrylics, adding the appropriate medium. This will improve paint penetration on the fabric, will also prevent cracks, peeling and fading of the paint during use 👍
Shall we start?
All we need is:
- a mat
- preferred colors
- brushes
- UV paper tape (the blue one, suitable for paint use)
Create your desired design with the masking tape - we chose a design inspired by Moroccan art 💗
If you use simple acrylics, mix them with the medium in the proportion indicated on the package.
Start painting the larger surface and continue with the smaller ones. 👍
Remove the tape - while the colors are still fresh - and let your mat dry, 30 'will be enough!
And you are ready 😀. Decorate your entrance or your bedroom and enjoy your creation! And once you realize how easy it is, you can make other similar celebrating autumn or winter with relevant colors!
